The SPEAKER presented a memorial of the Senate of the State of Alaska, relative to Senate Joint Resolution No. 10, encouraging the United States Congress to award Hmong veterans of the Vietnam War the Congressional Gold Medal; to the Committee on Financial Services. ML-24. Also, a memorial of the Senate of the State of Alaska, relative to Senate Joint Resolution No. 16, urging the United States Congress to pass the Ensuring Lasting Smiles Act; to the Committee on Energy and Commerce. ML-25. Also, a memorial of the House of Representatives of the State of Alaska, relative to House Joint Resolution No. 5, urging the United States Congress and the President of the United States to reinstate the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000 and make the funding mechanism in the Act permanent; jointly to the Committees on Agriculture and Natural Resources. ____________________ |
