Specter, Arlen [R-PA] PA R S000709 4 Juvenile Drug Prevention Act - Amends the Controlled Substances Act to provide mandatory minimum sentences for the distribution of a controlled substance: (1) to persons under 21 years of age; and (2) in or near an elementary or secondary school. Provides enhanced penalties for employing persons under 21 years of age to distribute controlled substances. Provides mandatory minimum sentences for such offenses. Amends the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970 to allow forfeited property transferred to State or local law enforcement agencies to be used for law enforcement and youth drug prevention and rehabilitation purposes designated by the Attorney General. 2025-08-29T16:31:05Z
