Boschwitz, Rudy [R-MN] MN R B000647 1 Lake Superior Band of Chippewa Indians in Minnesota Distribution of Judgment Funds Act - Provides for the abrogation of any prior plan for the distribution and use of judgment funds awarded to the Lake Superior Band of Chippewa Indians who are members of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe. Sets forth a formula for the division and distribution of such funds: (1) among the community groups of the Lake Superior Band of Chippewa Indians affiliated with specified reservations in the State of Minnesota; and (2) on a per capita basis. Exempts such funds from: (1) Federal, State or local income tax; and (2) being considered as income or resources regarding eligibility for assistance under Federal assistance programs (including the Social Security Act). Requires the Secretary of the Interior to update the roll of members of the Lake Superior Band of Chippewas who are members of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe. 2025-08-29T16:32:30Z
