[D-MD-3] MD D M000702 2 Professional Football Fan Protection Commission Resolution - Establishes in the Congress the Professional Football Fan Protection Commission to: (1) evaluate the extent to which existing Federal law protects the interests of fans of professional football; and (2) recommend legislation to further protect such interests. Requires the Commission to transmit a report to the Congress within six months of its first meeting. Describes the information to be contained in such report, including: (1) an evaluation of protections for fans, States, and cities from the effects of franchise relocation; (2) the effect of existing antitrust exemptions; (3) the need for additional antitrust exemptions; (4) factors which may require the expansion of professional football; and (5) the need for Federal legislation regarding the broadcasting of games. Provides for the Commission's termination 30 days after the submission of such report. Expresses the sense of the Congress that no professional football franchise should relocate during the existence of the Commission. 2025-08-29T16:30:24Z
