[D-TX-17] TX D S000851 6 Small Business Federal Construction Incentive Act of 1984 - Amends the Small Business Act and the Davis-Bacon Act to increase from $2,000 to $1,000,000 the threshold dollar amount subjecting certain contracts with small businesses to the Davis-Bacon Act and requiring them to specify the minimum wages to be paid to laborers and mechanics. Amends the Davis-Bacon Act to direct the Small Business Administration, not later than 18 months after the enactment of this Act, to study the impact of the amendments made by this Act and report its findings to the Small Business Committees of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Requires a contractor or subcontractor, in the case of a contract with a small business which does not exceed $1,000,000, to furnish wage statements for each employee at the midpoint and the conclusion of the period covered by the contract. 2025-08-29T17:38:19Z
