Hawkins, Paula [R-FL] FL R H000374 0 Pertussis and Pertussis Vaccines Study Act of 1982 - Requires the Director of the National Institutes of Health to conduct a study on the safety and effectiveness of pertussis vaccines used in the United States compared to such vaccines not being used in the United States. Directs the Director to submit the completed study to Congress and the Secretary of Health and Human Services not later than April 1, 1983, or six months after enactment of this Act, whichever is later. Requires the Secretary, within 60 days after the report is submitted, to report to the appropriate congressional committees on a plan of action to carry out the recommendations of the Director.
