[R-CO] CO R A000219 0 Colorado Wilderness Act of 1982 - Designates the following lands as components of the National Wilderness Preservation System: (1) the Mummy Range Wilderness in the Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado; (2) the Never Summer Wilderness in the Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado; (3) the Trail Ridge Wilderness in the Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado; (4) the Enos Mills Wilderness in the Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado; (5) the Monument Mesa Wilderness in the Colorado National Monument, Colorado; (6) the No Thoroughfare Canyon Wilderness in the Colorado National Monument, Colorado; (7) the Green-Yampa Wilderness in the Dinosaur National Monument, Colorado and Utah; and (8) the Blue Mountain Wilderness in the Dinosaur National Monument, Colorado and Utah. Provides for the portion of the Indian Peaks Wilderness previously transferred to the Rocky Mountain National Park to be made a part of the Enos Mills Wilderness. Requires that the portion of the Never Summer Wilderness in the Arapaho National Forest be managed by the U.S. Forest Service and that the portion of such wilderness in the Rocky Mountain National Park be administered by the U.S. Park Service. States that Congress finds that the Spruce Creek Addition Study Area has been adequately considered for preservation as wilderness. Designates the Spruce Creek Addition as part of the Hunter-Fryingpan Wilderness. 2025-08-29T19:51:47Z
