Provides that certifications of need or orders issued to assure availability of adequate supplies of chemicals necessary for water treatment may remain in effect until September 30, 1983 (currently September 30, 1982) or for one year after issuance, whichever occurs first. Extends through FY 1983 the authorizations of appropriations under the Safe Drinking Water Act for research, technical assistance, information, training of personnel, and grants to State programs of public water system supervision and of underground water source protection. Authorizes appropriations for FY 1983 for matching grants to States for the development of groundwater protection plans for sole source aquifer regions. 2025-01-14T17:12:38Z
