Skelton, Ike [D-MO-4] MO D S000465 7 National Commission on Science, Engineering, and Technology Education - Directs the President in conjunction with the majority leader of the Senate and the Speaker of the House to establish a National Commission on Science, Engineering and Technology Education to: (1) identify problems in science, engineering, and technology education in the United States; (2) evaluate the impact of such problems on national defense, industry, research, academia, and military manpower; and (3) formulate remedial actions for such problems. Requires the Commission to transmit to the President and to each House of the Congress a preliminary report within 18 months and a final report within 30 months of the date the Commission is duly organized. Terminates the Commission six months after the submission of the final report. 2025-08-29T19:49:39Z
