Smith, Virginia [R-NE-3] NE R S000622 2 (House agreed to Senate amendment with an amendment) Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to engage in water resource development feasibility studies of the following: (1) Chief Joseph Dam project, Washington; (2) Gibson Dam powerplant, Montana; (3) Imperial Irrigation District canal lining, California; (4) New Melones conveyance system study, California; (5) Pilot Butte powerplant, Riverton unit, Wyoming; (6) Prairie Bend unit, Nebraska; (7) Siletz River Basin project, Oregon; (8) Spring Canyon pumped-storage project, Arizona; (9) Tongue River Dam, Montana; (10) water conservation and efficient use program, All-American canal relocation project, California; (11) Upper Klamath offstream storage study, Klamath project, Oregon; (12) South Dakota water deliveries study, Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin program, South Dakota; (13) Central South Dakota water studies, Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin program, South Dakota; (14) Blue Holes Reservoir, Wyoming; and (15) Muddy Creek hydrologic, surge relief, and erosion control study, Great Falls, Montana. Requires, before funds are expended for any such feasibility study, that the State involved, or any non-Federal entity, agree to participate in the study and to share its cost. Authorizes the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, to complete protection of the Fisherman's Wharf area of San Francisco, California. 2024-02-07T13:32:55Z
