Urges the President and other U.S. officials to: (1) work for the establishment of a United Nations working group on the Elimination of All Forms of Religious Persecution and Discrimination; (2) raise the issue of violations of freedom of religion and belief at every appropriate international forum; and (3) encourage the U.N., regional organizations, and individual governments to condemn religious persecution and discrimination and to adopt effective measures to eliminate such persecution and discrimination.
