[R-IN-5] IN R H000624 0 Amends the Trade Act of 1974 to impose import fees, in addition to those otherwise imposed, on the entry of injury-causing articles (those imports which entitle affected workers, firms, and communities to adjustment assistance) to be used for reimbursing the Federal Government for the costs of providing such adjustment assistance benefits. Revises funding provisions applicable to the Adjustment Assistance Trust Fund (for workers), firm adjustment assistance, and the Community Adjustment Assistance Fund to authorize appropriations to such funds in amounts equal to the import fees collected pursuant to this Act plus any additional sums necessary to provide such adjustment assistance. 2024-02-07T16:32:33Z
