[R-OR] OR R H000343 4 Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior, through the Bureau of Reclamation, the Secretary of Agriculture, through the Soil Conservation Service, and the Secretary of the Army, through the Chief of Engineers, to conduct investigations for water resource development projects within their respective jurisdictions. Requires the Secretaries for each detailed feasibility investigation undertaken to prepare a feasibility report to be submitted to Congress describing the water resource problems of the area with respect to national economic development, regional development, water resource conservation, environmental quality, and social well-being. Sets forth required contents to be included in feasibility reports. Provides for the reimbursement of the United States for water resource development projects planned under this Act according to a set percentage of the cost and the purpose of the project. 2025-01-14T17:12:38Z
