Gravel, Mike [D-AK] AK D G000388 1 (Conference report filed in House, H. Rept. 95-1494) Amends the Water Resources Planning Act of 1965 to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 1979 for the expenses of the Water Resources Council. Authorizes appropriations for fiscal year 1979 to carry out the comprehensive river basin planning program and national water assessments, allocating specified amounts for: (1) the Columbia River Estuary Special Study; (2) the New England Port and Harbor Study; (3) the Hudson River Basin Level B Study; and (4) Case Studies of the Application of Cost Sharing Policy Options for Flood Plan Management in the Connecticut River Basin. Authorizes appropriations for fiscal year 1979 for grants to States for assistance in developing water and related land resources plans. Provides authority for supplemental authorizations of appropriations for salary and employee benefits as provided by law. 2025-01-14T17:12:38Z
