Randolph, Jennings [D-WV] WV D R000046 0 (Reported to Senate from the Committee on Environment and Public Works with amendment, S. Rept. 95-830) Amends the National Dam Inspection Program to grant the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, the authority: (1) to enter and inspect any dam site; and (2) to have access to records and documents concerning such dam site, pursuant to the national program of inspection of dams. Provides for priority in the courts for consideration of any judicial proceedings subsequent to dam inspection activities. Provides that no action or failure to act under such Program shall create any liability for agents or contractors of the United States for damages caused by such action or failure to act beyond the amount of any contract entered into pursuant to such Act. 2025-01-14T17:12:38Z
