DeConcini, Dennis [D-AZ] AZ D D000185 1 (Reported to Senate from the Committee on the Judiciary with amendment, S. Rept. 95-755) Amends provisions of Federal law specifying fees for services performed by United States Marshals to eliminate the set fees contained therein for all services other than seizing and disposing of property and to authorize the Attorney General to prescribe fees by regualtion. Eliminates the maximum amount which a court may tax in a criminal case as marshall fees for services other than summoning witnesses. States that the provisions of this Act shall take effect on October 1, 1978. 2025-07-21T19:32:26Z
