[R-NH-2] NH R C000512 0 Amends the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to transfer from the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to the Secretary of the Army, the approval and financial assistance functions with respect to certain clean lake projects. Authorizes the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, to enter into agreements with States for demonstration projects related to water pollution. Directs such demonstration projects to be conducted at the following locations in New Hampshire: Blackwater Bay, Cummings Meadow Pond, French Pond, Kezar Lake, Long Pond, Mascoma Lake, Otter Pond, Pearly Lake, Pennichuck Pond, Perkins Pond, Todd Lake, and Weare Reservoir. Directs the Secretary to establish a clean lakes research laboratory at Hanover, New Hampshire. 2024-08-01T20:05:30Z
