94-sjres-12 94 sjres 12 A joint resolution to prohibit for a period of 60 days the imposition of tariffs, fees, and quotas on oil imports and the lifting of all price controls on domestic oil, and to thereafter require the submission to, and the right of approval of the Congress of any such action within 30 days. [D-MA] MA D K000105 54 Provides that no new tariff, fee or other charge, no increase in existing tariffs, fees or other charges, and no new quota or other limitation on imports of crude oil or petroleum products other than those in effect on January 1, 1975, may be imposed unless: (1) such action is specifically authorized by law enacted after the date of enactment of this joint resolution; or (2) the specific action proposed to be taken is submitted to both Houses of the Congress.
