Provides that such funds shall be apportioned by the Secretary of the Interior on October 1 (presently July 1) of each year. Provides that the amount apportioned to any State shall be calculated as follows: (1) an amount which bears, to 75 percent of the yearly appropriation, the same relation that the average of the value of raw fish harvested by domestic commercial fishermen and received within such State for the three most recent calendar years bears to the total average value of all raw fish harvested by domestic commercial fishermen and received within all States for the three most recent calendar years; and (2) an amount which bears, to 25 percent of the yearly appropriation, the same relation that the average of the value to manufacturers of manufactured and processed fishery merchandise manufactured within such State for the three most recent calendar years bears to the total average value of all fishery merchandise manufactured and processed within all States for the three most recent calendar years. | 2024-08-01T19:33:15Z |
