[D-TX] TX D B000401 1 Expresses the sense of the Senate that the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration conduct a conference before December 31, 1974, composed of representatives of the Congress, law enforcement agencies, including police officers, private women's groups, community rape task forces, and other appropriate organizations, to study the incidence of rape and the manner in which rape may be prevented and controlled and the victims of rape properly treated, with special emphasis upon improving local law enforcement programs designed to control rape and to treat the victims of rape. Directs the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration to report to the Congress, no later than 30 days after the convening of the Ninety-fourth Congress, on action that should and may be taken by the Congress or the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration to implement the suggestions emerging from the conference. 2025-07-21T19:32:26Z
