[R-KS-4] KS R S000388 0 Requires that, before grants for construction of treatment works are approved by the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, such works must be: (1) included in any applicable areawide waste treatment management plan: (2) in conformity with any applicable State plan; (3) certified by the appropriate State water pollution control agency; (4) guaranteed by the applicant to have the capability of proper operation and maintenance; (5) approved with respect to the size and capacity of such works in relation to the needs to be served; and (6) awarded solely on the basis of prospective ability to perform the contract of construction of such works. Requires the applicant to adopt a system of charges to assure that each recipient of waste treatment services will pay its equitable share of the costs of operation and maintenance of such works. 2024-08-01T18:38:12Z
