(Gene) [R-KY-4] KY R S000669 0 Provides that no court created by Act of Congress and having general jurisdiction, original or appellate, with respect to cases or controversies arising under the laws or Constitution of the United States, shall have any jurisdiction to hear or decide cases or controversies involving the public schools. Vests the jurisdiction terminated by this Act in the courts of the several States and, with respect to such cases and controversies arising in the District of Columbia or in any other territory or possession of the United States, in the Federal courts of an essentially local jurisdiction in such District, territory, or possession. Vests in the Supreme Court of the United States appellate jurisdiction by writ of certiorari to the highest State or territorial court exercising jurisdiction over such case or controversy. 2024-08-01T18:35:42Z
