Rodino, Peter W., Jr. [D-NJ-10] NJ D R000374 0 (LATEST SUMMARY) Provides that the term of the grand jury of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia which was impaneled on June 5, 1972, is extended to June 4, 1974; and that if the United States District Court for the District of Columbia determines that the business of the grand jury will not be completed by that date, that court is authorized to extend its term for an additional six months. Provides that if the United States District Court for the District of Columbia fails to extend the term of the grand jury beyond the statutory extension period ending June 4, 1974, the Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit may extend its term for an additional six months on application by the grand jury. Provides that in no event shall the term of the grand jury extend beyond December 4, 1974. 2025-07-21T19:32:26Z
