[D-WI-2] WI D K000020 0 Establishes a Joint Committee on Central Intelligence composed of seven Members of the Senate to be appointed by the President of the Senate, and seven Members of the House of Representatives to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Requires the joint committee to make continuing studies of the intelligence activities and problems relating to the gathering of intelligence affecting the national security and of its coordination and utilization by the various departments, agencies, and instrumentalities of the Government. Requires the Central Intelligence Agency and other services engaged in foreign intelligence activities to keep the joint committee fully and currently informed with respect to their activities. Provides that all bills, resolutions, and other matters in the Senate or the House of Representatives relating primarily to the Central Intelligence Agency and to other services engaged in foreign intelligence activities shall be referred to the joint committee. 2024-08-01T18:26:27Z
