Smith, Tina [D-MN] MN D S001203 0 Veteran Empowerment and Training to Facilitate Agricultural Revitalization and Mobilization Act of 2018 or the VET-2-FARM Act of 2018 This bill requires the Department of Agriculture (USDA) Military Veterans Agricultural Liaison to provide additional information to veterans and members of the Armed Forces regarding agriculture-related employment and training opportunities. The Military Veterans Agricultural Liaison must: provide information to veterans concerning the availability of, and eligibility requirements for, positions identified within USDA that are available to employ or train veterans; consult with specified federal departments and agencies regarding activities that assist veterans with agriculture-related employment; and establish and periodically update a website with information regarding employment and training opportunities for service members and veterans. USDA must report annually to Congress regarding positions and training opportunities for members of the Armed Forces and veterans. 2023-01-11T13:42:10Z
