The bill provides that: (1) the period of authorized admission for a W-visa alien is 180 days, which may be extended for one additional 180-day period; (2) the total number of principal W-visa aliens who may be admitted during any fiscal is 5,000; (3) adjustment of such an alien to permanent resident status is prohibited; and (4) the Department of Homeland Security shall establish an expedited admissions process for W-visa aliens. | 2023-01-11T13:33:40Z |
