Franks, Trent [R-AZ-8] AZ R F000448 6 Constitutional Amendment Prohibits denial or abridgement of a crime victim's rights to: (1) reasonable notice of, and inclusion in, public proceedings relating to the offense; (2) be heard at any release, plea, sentencing, or other proceeding involving any right established under this amendment; (3) proceedings free from unreasonable delay; (4) reasonable notice of the release or escape of the accused; (5) due consideration of the crime victim's safety, dignity, and privacy; and (6) restitution. Grants the crime victim, or the victim's lawful representative, standing to assert and enforce such rights. Subjects review of the denial of any right established by this amendment, which may include interlocutory relief, to the standards of ordinary appellate review. 2023-01-11T13:27:45Z
