Requires the Chief to: (1) be a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, with responsibility for advocating for the National Guards of the states and such areas; and (2) consult with state governors and adjutant generals before any changes are made in National Guard force structure or equipment levels. 2023-01-11T13:21:21Z
