Reid, Harry [D-NV] | NV | D | R000146 | 1 | Elko Indian Colony Expansion Act of 2008 - Requires that approximately 373 acres of land administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and identified on the map entitled "Te-moak Tribal Land Expansion," dated September 30, 2008, be held in trust by the United States for the benefit and use of the Te-moak Tribe of Western Shoshone Indians of Nevada as part of the Tribe's reservation.Directs the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the BLM, to complete a survey to establish the boundaries of the land taken into trust.Provides that such land shall not be eligible for class II or class III gaming. Requires the Tribe to limit the use of the land to traditional and customary uses, stewardship conservation for the Tribe's benefit, and residential or recreational development or commercial use.
