Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act to authorize the President to provide assistance to individuals and households that are required to evacuate their primary residences for a period of two or more days pursuant to a mandatory evacuation order issued by a state or local government as a result of a major disaster. Authorizes assistance in the form of reimbursement for subsistence expenses incurred during such an evacuation: (1) for up to seven days; and (2) in an amount not to exceed the federal employee per diem allowance established for the locality to which a person is evacuated.Provides that: (1) assistance authorized may be for expenses incurred before the date of the disaster's declaration; and (2) this Act shall apply to a major disaster declared by the President on or after September 1, 2008. 2020-02-14T19:16:01Z
