Requires continuing payment of eligible displaced House staff members, upon application to the Chief Administrative Officer, at his or her respective salary for up to 60 days following separation from employment or until he or she becomes otherwise gainfully employed, whichever is earlier. Declares eligible for such severance pay any individual who: (1) is separated from employment with a House committee or a leadership office solely and directly as a result of a change in the party holding the majority of the membership of the House; and (2) was an employee of the committee or leadership office involved, before separation, for at least 183 days (whether or not service was continuous). 2022-02-03T05:28:11Z
