Directs the Secretary to: (1) review and approve each vulnerability assessment and site security plan required by this Act; (2) audit and inspect chemical facilities to determine compliance with such regulations; (3) provide the owner or operator of a facility not in compliance with written notification and opportunity for consultation; and (4) issue an order to comply by an appropriate date. Authorizes the Secretary to issue an order for the facility to cease operation until the owner or operator complies. Sets forth provisions regarding: (1) the protection of vulnerability or security information under this Act from public disclosure; and (2) civil penalties for violation of an order issued under this Act. | 2019-11-15T21:17:36Z |
