[D-MD-7] MD D C000984 4 Kendell Frederick Citizenship Assistance Act - Directs the Secretary of Homeland Security to use the fingerprints provided by an individual at the time of military enlistment to satisfy any fingerprint requirements as part of an application for naturalization if the individual: (1) may be naturalized under provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act; (2) was fingerprinted in accordance with requirements of the Department of Defense (DOD) at the time of enlistment; and (3) submits an application for naturalization within 12 months after the date of enlistment. Requires the Secretary of Defense to establish the position of Citizenship Advocate at each military entry processing station to provide information to members of the Armed Forces on the naturalization process. 2023-01-13T04:49:25Z
