Res. 458 of the 98th Congress to provide salary continuation for up to 60 days for a staff member whose service is terminated solely and directly as a result of: (1) a change in the individual occupying the position of President pro tempore emeritus, Chairman of the Conference of the Majority, Chairman of the Conference of the Minority, Chairman of the Majority Policy Committee, and Chairman of the Minority Policy Committee; or (2) expiration of a Senator's term in office, but only if the Senator is not serving as a Senator for the next term of office and was a candidate in the general election for such next term. 2021-09-29T22:08:31Z
