[R-NH] NH R S001078 3 Direct Broadcast Satellite North Country Access Act - Amends the Communications Act of 1934 to authorize satellite carriers to carry the signal of a commercial television broadcast station that was the only network station in that State on January 1, 1995, for secondary transmission to subscribers in communities in the State that are not within one of the first 50 television markets listed in Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations. Authorizes satellite carriers to carry the signals of any network station in a State in which all network stations and superstations licensed by the FCC as of January 1, 1995, were assigned to the same local market and the local market does not encompass all counties of the State, for secondary transmission to subscribers in the State who reside in one of the first 50 major television markets listed in FCC regulations. 2023-01-14T22:48:27Z
