[D-NY-14] NY D M000087 7 Amends the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2003 to extend the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks on the United States (currently terminated as of August 21, 2004) until the earlier of: (1) the date on which the Commission chairman and vice chairman determine that the Commission has done all it can to assist Congress with respect to the recommendations contained in its final report; or (2) July 24, 2007. Adds as Commission functions: (1) serving as a resource to the President and Congress with respect to the findings and recommendations contained in its final report and monitoring the progress of the President and Congress in implementing such recommendations; and (2) investigating and issuing a supplemental improvements made, and still required, in Federal, State, and local emergency communication and coordination. Authorizes appropriations. 2023-01-13T22:01:46Z
