[R-UT] | UT | R | H000338 | 1 | International Malaria Control Act of 2000 - Directs the Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (AID) to undertake activities designed to control malaria in recipient countries by coordinating: (1) with appropriate Federal officials and appropriate organizations to develop and implement, in partnership with recipient nations, a comprehensive malaria prevention and control program; and (2) malaria prevention and control activities with efforts by recipient nations to prevent and control HIV and tuberculosis. Authorizes appropriations.Directs the Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development to take appropriate steps to provide recipient countries with information concerning: (1) the development of vaccines and therapeutic agents for HIV, malaria, and tuberculosis; and (2) participation in, and the results of, clinical trials conducted for such vaccines and therapeutic agents. | 2025-08-20T14:21:37Z |
