[D-OH-10] OH D K000336 0 FDA Food Embargo Authority Act - Amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to allow an inspections officer or employee to order a food or device detained if, during an inspection of a facility or vehicle, the officer or employee has reason to believe that such food or device is in violation of such Act. Requires the Secretary of Health and Human Services to propose a regulations revision to include food as an article that can be detained.Allows the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), without regard to business confidentiality requirements, to disclose all information necessary to fully embargo, seize, or recall any adulterated food. Requires all food retailers to register with the FDA to expedite such procedures. 2025-08-20T14:19:37Z
