McCollum, Bill [R-FL-8] FL R M000350 2 Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to include within the current financial requirements for a sponsor's affidavit of support for an alien that not less than 100 percent of the Federal poverty line level shall be required during the period that the affidavit is enforceable for an alien: (1) where a U.S. employer has agreed to employ the alien for at least one year after admission; or (2) who will be under the age of 18 for the time the affidavit is enforceable. (Current law requires annual support at not less than 125 percent of the Federal poverty level for all sponsored aliens.) 2025-01-02T17:12:17Z
