Pryce, Deborah [R-OH-15] OH R P000555 9 Expresses the sense of Congress that: (1) the faith community, nonprofit organizations, State and local officials involved in prevention of child abuse and neglect, and volunteers throughout the United States should recommit themselves and mobilize their resources to assist children in danger of abuse or neglect; (2) Federal resources should be marshalled in a manner that maximizes their impact on the prevention of child abuse and neglect; (3) State and local officials should be provided with increased flexibility to use Federal law enforcement resources to prevent child abuse and neglect if appropriate; and (4) child protective services agencies, law enforcement agencies, and the judicial system should coordinate efforts to the maximum extent possible to prevent child abuse and neglect.
