[D-MA-7] MA D M000133 1 E-Rate Policy and Child Protection Act of 1998 - Amends the Communications Act of 1934 to require an elementary or secondary school or library that obtains services or preferential rates or treatment under the Federal universal service support provisions of such Act (concerning telecommunications and information services) to establish a policy with respect to access to material that is inappropriate for children. Provides that, after January 1, 1999, such a school or library may not continue to receive such services, rates, or treatment unless it has filed with the Federal Communications Commission a statement describing such policy. 2025-08-21T16:13:48Z
