Ashcroft, John [R-MO] MO R A000356 0 Constitutional Amendment - Provides that: (1) whenever two-thirds of the States propose an amendment, in identical terms, to the Constitution, such proposal shall be submitted to the Congress for consideration; (2) if two-thirds of the Members of each House of Congress do not disapprove the proposal during the session in which the proposal is submitted, the proposal shall be submitted to all of the States for consideration; and (3) such amendment shall be valid as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the States. 2025-07-21T19:32:26Z
