Sanders, Bernard [I-VT-At Large] VT I S000033 10 Amends the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1995 to: (1) prohibit the Secretary of Defense from making additional payments for restructuring costs incurred under defense contracts on or after August 15, 1994, until the filing of required reports for FY 1995 and 1996 with respect to possible cost savings achieved by such restructuring; (2) eliminate a 1997 reporting requirement concerning such possible savings; (3) include new information for determining such savings; (4) require the Comptroller Generally to report quarterly (currently, periodically) on the implementation of DOD policy regarding defense industry restructuring; and (5) require the final report of the Comptroller General on December 1, 1996 (currently, 1997). 2025-06-06T14:17:56Z
