Bryant, Ed [R-TN-7] TN R B000996 9 Amends the Federal criminal code (the code) to require public disclosure of amounts paid to court-appointed attorneys in certain criminal cases. Amends the Controlled Substances Act to require: (1) in capital cases, the rate of compensation paid to court-appointed attorneys to be not less than $75, and not more than $125, per hour for in-court and out-of-court time, with fees and expenses paid for investigative, expert, and other reasonably necessary services authorized at the rates and in the amounts authorized under the code; and (2) public disclosure of such amounts paid. 2025-01-02T17:37:43Z
