Establishes an Emergency Cooling Fund to provide assistance to low-income families and senior citizens during a declared heat emergency. Makes senior citizens eligible for heat related assistance. Provides for the use of energy assistance funds during a heat emergency. Directs that the Administrator of the General Services Administration shall: (1) be notified of any declared heat emergency; and (2) expedite distribution of air conditioning units and other cooling equipment to affected localities. 2025-07-21T19:44:15Z
