Hatch, Orrin G. [R-UT] UT R H000338 0 Local Government Planning Involvement Act of 1994 - Amends the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 to define "local government entity" to mean a local political entity created or recognized pursuant to State law, including county commissions, special service districts, water districts, cities, towns, and regional and local government associations, regarding such entities' receiving or using a right-of-way under specified provisions of the Act. Requires the Secretary of the Interior (with respect to coordination of the land use, inventory, planning, and management activities of or for public lands with other State and local government land use planning programs within which the lands are located) to: (1) notify Governors of States and heads of local governments of the intent or plan to conduct land use surveys, inventories, studies, and planning; (2) include, upon request by the heads of State and local governments, their employees in all inventory, planning, and management activities; and (3) make available, upon request by such officials, regulations, inventories, management plans, and long- and short-term work plans relating to Federal land use and management during their preparation. 2026-03-24T12:48:03Z
