[D-SD] SD D D000064 5 Repeals a Federal provision which terminates the authority of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to approve the use of veterans' basic educational assistance for a course of flight training that commences on or after October 1, 1994. Amends the Service Members Occupational Conversion and Training Act of 1992 to eliminate the 18-month limit on the period of training permitted to assist eligible persons in obtaining employment through participation in programs of significant training for employment in stable and permanent positions. Allows assistance to be paid to an employer on behalf of an eligible person under two or more job training programs as long as the aggregate amount received on such person's behalf is not in excess of the per-person limit. 2025-01-14T17:02:09Z
