[D-MN-8] MN D O000006 1 Special Purpose Aircraft Safety Act of 1994 - Makes it unlawful for a person to operate or lease a U.S. registered aircraft with a maximum certificated take-off weight of 12,500 pounds or more, which has been issued a special purpose certificate, and which does not meet a minimum airworthiness code satisfying international agreements for international navigation of aircraft, if it is used for: (1) the carriage of cargo for compensation or hire; (2) non-special purpose operations; or (3) special purpose operations conducted outside of the United States, unless authorized by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration. Sets forth certain exemptions to such prohibition. Establishes penalties for violations of this Act. 2025-08-26T13:50:11Z
