[D-CT] CT D D000388 1 Quinebaug and Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor Act of 1992 - Establishes: (1) a Quinebaug and Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor in Connecticut; and (2) the Quinebaug and Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor Commission to assist appropriate Federal, State, and regional planning organizations and local authorities in the development and implementation of an integrated resource management plan for the Corridor's lands and water to be submitted to the Secretary of the Interior and the Governor of Connecticut for review and approval. Sets forth the duties of: (1) the Secretary with respect to approval or disapproval of the plan; and (2) a Federal agency conducting or supporting activities directly affecting the corridor, under specified conditions. Terminates the Commission five years after the enactment of this Act. Provides for a five-year extension of the Commission if necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act. Requires the Commission to solicit, for each fiscal year, payment of an amount equal to 50 percent of its annual operating costs from non-Federal sources.
