Conrad, Kent [D-ND] | ND | D | C000705 | 0 | Act for an Annual Report for the American Citizens - Requires the Secretary of the Treasury to distribute to all taxpayers (who so request) an annual report containing, at a minimum: (1) the most recent five-year actual trends in Federal receipts, expenditures, fund balances, assets and liabilities, and debts by major category or source; (2) a comparison of the actual budget totals for the most recent fiscal year to the budget projections; (3) statements from the President and congressional leadership regarding significant aspects of the Government's financial performance; and (4) any other relevant information on the Government's performance and contributions to economic growth, productivity, and investment in infrastructure. Requires the report to be supervised and directed by the Deputy Director for Management of the Office of Management and Budget. Establishes an advisory committee to provide the Deputy Director with comments and suggestions on the design and content of the annual report. Requires the Deputy Director and the Comptroller General to attest to the accuracy of information in such report. Allows the costs of preparing and distributing the report to be paid by contributions from corporations, foundations, and other private entities.
